About Jill
I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. My earliest memory is picking out a puppy from a litter at my neighbor’s house. That first dog became my best friend throughout my childhood.
I started a career in graphic design after graduating from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. After many years corporate design jobs, I transitioned into a freelance role. While I was working for myself, I began to realize that design wasn’t my passion and I needed a change.
My passion led me back to animals and research into different dog and cat related fields allowed for the discovery of pet massage. As soon as I learned it was an option, I knew it was what I wanted to do.
I am trained and certified in pet massage through the PetMassage™ school in Toledo, OH. I trained in Reiki with Donna Lakes. I’m a member of the International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork (IAAMB) and trained in basic canine first aid.
I live in Ferndale with my husband as well as Raleigh the Portidoodle and Ziggy the Cavapoo.
